So I started a new lj... the old one was kinda boring and since i've changed since high school I thought it would be nice to have a fresh start.

It seems like I've been obsessed with domesticity this past week. I've felt the sudden urge to cook good meals, clean up our place, and be a "happy housewife." It's about time. I have a tendency to be a bit messy or relaxed with the appearance of the place, but I hate the way it looks. So I get these sudden bursts of energy to redecorate and organize.

Saturday I tried to make the spare bedroom into an actual living space. Over the past year it had become a literal dumping ground for things we weren't using, dirty laundry and books. Jason's closet looked like it had exploded. The boy has more socks than he knows what to do with, and don't even get me started on t-shirts. So my goal for our spare bedroom it to turn it into a little office/ craft room / reading room. I'll let you know how it goes...
